Heather Kuhlman

Membership Development Specialist

Heather brings a wealth of diverse experiences to her role at Gifted Travel Network. She engages with both new and experienced advisors, guiding them through the Travel MBA program and showcasing the numerous hosting and educational opportunities available at GTN. Before joining GTN, Heather spent 14 years as a Special Needs Educator, holding a Master’s degree in Learning Disabilities. Her artistic side then led her to embark on an entrepreneurial journey into photography, where she built a successful business in Fine Art Weddings and Portraiture over 24 years. Her photography career opened doors to speaking and educating for Professional Photographers of America, capturing our WWII Veterans on Honor Flight missions, and presenting a TEDx program on "The Art of Failing Forward." Her next venture was revitalizing a failing arts council as its Executive Director. She launched innovative programs such as the Art Factory for adults with special needs, the Art Card connecting local businesses, and the Arts Midwest WorldFest concert series. Through her leadership, the council became the top arts organization in the state after eight years of dedicated effort. Heather's eclectic background in education, entrepreneurship, and strategic thinking now enriches her role at Gifted Travel Network, where she delights in connecting with prospective advisors and helping them embark on their own journeys.
