We are pleased to announce two Gifted Travel Network advisors will be attending DUCO, France, in Paris from October 10 - 14, 2022.
What is DUCO Travel Summit?
DUCO Travel Summit is the industry’s first destination-oriented initiative. DUCO France is an invitation-only boutique travel summit in Paris. The purpose of this event is to bring together premium French suppliers with elite travel advisors, mainly from English-speaking markets. The focus on one destination itself promotes comprehensive networking surrounding the best of France.
The two Gifted Travel Network advisors to attend this event are Jeannine Pascal of Ortensia Blu Travel Adventures and Julia Matheson of Travel Julia’s Way.
"I am thrilled to be selected by GTN to attend DUCO France for the first time as it is a rare opportunity to meet the crème de la crème of hoteliers, DMCs, and tourist bureaus from all over the country,” said Pascal.
For Jeannine, having lived in the City of Lights, this region of the country holds great personal meaning for her. She is most excited that the one-on-one business meetings will provide excellent networking, and the special events site visits will allow for first-hand knowledge of the properties. This is very important as most of her clients visiting France usually begin or end their trip in Paris.
As for Julia, visiting the country for the first time at age 15, majoring in French, and living in Paris. She knew a long time ago that she would be a Francophile for life.
“I am so looking forward to strengthening existing relationships with partners I already know and getting to know new partners that will benefit my clients’ experiences in the country,” said Matheson. “There’s nothing like real-life connections and experiences, and building those relationships – as well as seeing the latest and greatest hotels and restaurants – will only add value to the services I’m able to provide to my clients.”
DUCO France's sister event, DUCO Italy, will be held from March 27- 31, 2023, in Florence. Gifted Travel Network has secured three-invitation-only spots for DUCO Italy in 2023. Director of Partner Relations Erica Whitaker, along with two GTN advisors, will be in attendance for this event.
