Membership Development Coordinator


This position is the first point of contact for anyone interested in hosting with Gifted Travel Network. This will require the individual to embody GTN’s brand and voice. This position must possess strong sales skills and understanding of how to build and work a prospect list. This person must be comfortable offering a high-ticket product within a luxury environment. Equally important to selling is identifying candidates that are a good fit for entrepreneurship and luxury travel. The ability to interview people and really hear what they are saying – and what they aren’t saying – is of critical importance.

Key to success in this role is theability to build relationships with prospective members and following up with them throughout the decision-making process. We are looking for someone who loves meeting and working with new people and is also strong with follow-up and detail-oriented processes including using a CRM system. For this role follow-up and follow through are critical skills.

The Membership Development Coordinator participates in numerous programs and events in service to the members.

To be successful in this role, will need to love being part of a dynamic team that accomplishes a lot, in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. This position requires confidence in earning new technology platforms and a friendly presence via email, phone, and video calls.

This position will have experience with high-ticket item sales, utilizing technology to track inquiries and followup, utilizing social media to communicate and connect with members, prospective members, and the industry at large. In addition to helping people our community through working with new members, this role plays an important role in supporting current members through various internal programs.

This is not a commission-based job, but there is an opportunity to earn bonuses based on company performance.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum BA or BS
  • Strong experience with in sales - ideally with luxury services or     products
  • Outstanding communication skills – both written and oral
  • Excellent attention to detail in documenting processes and interactions
  • Ability to work independently in an unstructured environment
  • High level of agility and adaptability
  • Ability to master computer systems independently and quickly
  • Mastery of computer systems including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams; experience using CRM systems, preferred with Hubspot
  • Experience in the travel industry as a travel agent or representative for a travel company is a plus
