In this role, Kristin oversees a comprehensive suite of our Travel Business University programs designed to elevate industry expertise and excellence. With nearly six years of experience owning her own travel business, Kristin's journey into professional development was ignited by her profound love for travel. As a graduate of the Travel MBA program herself, Kristin embodies firsthand the transformative power of the program. Her expertise in crafting international luxury FIT itineraries, particularly in Europe and Africa, has earned her recognition as a Conde Nast Travel Specialist for consecutive years, 2021 and 2022. Having previously served as the Director of Professional Development for the Travel MBA program, Kristin Matthews achieved significant milestones in her career. With a wealth of knowledge and a passion for mentorship, she guided aspiring professionals through the intricacies of the travel industry. Shortly after, she transitioned to the role of VP of Member Experience, where she oversaw both the Membership and Travel Business University departments gaining invaluable insights into the diverse needs of the organization. Now, as the VP of Professional Development, Kristin's focus is primarily on enhancing and advancing the TBU programs. Committed to fostering growth and excellence within Travel Business University's community, she leverages her dedication to mentoring and sharing expertise, rooted in her transformative experience and previous background as a counselor.
